I like McCain but Palin scares me to death.
I Kinda like Obama but I don't like a lot of what his party stands for.
I believe Obama really wants to make huge difference in office but I just can't get around his party.
I would be for McCain totally until Palin came along. That was a stupid choice and that make me rethink his decision making.
I have never been into politics until the past two years and I don't know much detail about any of it. But, this is how I feel from what I have read.
Anyone else still undecided?

I wish there was a viable 3rd party to vote for. It seems like everyone is so slanted to one way or another as far as their party, people who are moderate and aren't registered to any party get left in the dust.I'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

So let me ask you.. how have the last 8 years been for you?
Your own words sound like you believe in Obama..
What about the democratic party bothers you?
Also.. remember Sarah Palin is one heartbeat away from presidency.. it sounds like you are as scared as I am about that terrifying thought.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

i would say based on what i can figure out of you - either a vote for bob barr or cynthia mckinney ... barr is libertarian candidate which probably is more to your political leanings but he's not looked favourably amongst the boards libertarian conservatives ... mckinney is the green party candidate - but is probably a little too liberal for your liking ...0 -

I'm just curious about this because this is a generalized statement that you've made here, but specifically, what is it you don't like?0 -

I don't like all the goverment programs for minorities. I think they need to be much more strict when giving them everything for free. In Atlantic City I see people abuse the system everyday with goverment housing etc... It make me sick that they don't try to better themselves, instead they rely on people to help them.
I don't like all the breaks many of the far left judges in the country give to violent offenders.
I don't like that the far lefters make problems with Christmas trees in the town square or how they want to take out "One nation, under God" or "I god we trust".
Things like that to start.
I do believe in pro-choice.
I do believe that gays should be able to marry whoever the hell they want.Get em a Body Bag Yeeeeeaaaaa!

I was for neither party for the longest however Sarah Pain is scary as hell to me and now I'd rather vote for Nader. Him I can believe, Obama has to rise up be DIFFERENT than McCain instead of "I agree with...."

If the "I agree with" is correct, why should he be different on those issues ...
People want bipartisan cooperation, then they criticize Obama for "I agree with John on XXX" ... but, if you listened to the debate, most of the I agree withs were quickly followed by "but where I disagree" and "a different way to approach it" ...
that "Obama said I agree with John McCain 9 times during the debate" ad was directed squarely at people who are too lazy to watch the entire debate."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

I agree about welfare reform... something really needs done, but I have no idea how to pull that off.
But (at least to me) the two points that I quoted above shouldn't be directed at the democratic party. As far as judges, there are good and bad judges appointed by both parties. I know that the Bill O'Reilys of the world love to pick out certain cases and slam judges, but there are plenty of republican appointed judges that make decisions that are just as bad.
And the Christmas Tree or those types of God issues??? Since when is that in the democratic platform? My whole life
