O'Reilly and that ilk are modern day vaudeville, nothing more or less.

I dislike O'Reilly but not because of his views. I can respect a person who does not share the same ideals as me and I have agreed with O'Reilly on many issues. What causes me to dislike him is his arrogance. Even when proven dead wrong the man will not admit it and just brush it off as some sort of liberal media spin.

Sounds like your typical Train participant.

If you think O'Reilly supports all (not both) views. Then you gotta stop watching US media man. There are tons of scientific and political conferences and debates published through independent and foreign media that does a much better job of representing all possibilities.

The Agenda for example. I watched a debate on their about this whole Iranian nuclear power controversy and there was a hella lot of depth to the discussion. Things I never even thought about because major media ignores them. The best part is, nobody yells at each other and they learn from others as well.

You know how Stephen Colbert makes a living out of his parody of Bill O'Rielly?
Bill O'Rielly makes a living out of his characiture of the stereo-typical right-wing conservative.
    ...
Both are in the entertainment business and are quite successful. People like O'Rielly, Hannity, Coulter, Al Franken and Michael Moore are making a living on the people who believe them to be real. They are basically the political equivilants of WWF Wrestlers... in that Bill O'Rielly is to politics as Hulk Hogan is to professional sports.

  • When Bill O'Reilly arrives in Hades, his penance shall be giving George the Animal Steele rusty trombone after rusty trombone after rusty trombone for all eternity. He is a true fuckstick, to say the verrrrrrry least.

Ha ha ha, that is funny but it's so true! These people just pander to their respective fringe, and get them all rilled up. It's stupid, and doesn't deserve to be on a serious news network. I mean there is comentary, and then there is comentary.

I don't disagree with all of O'Rielly's views, but I still see him as a total shed. As in he's not just a tool, or a tool box. He's a fucking tool shed.

The thing is that O'Reilly takes himself seriously, as do pretty much all of the conservative talking heads.

Many of the liberal talking heads (Franken, Bill Maher, Jon Stewart) are actual comedians, and by default are entertainers.

Yeah, that's a good point. He is so fucking dramatic in his comentary, and acts as if every issue is a matter of life and death. And he acts so self-righteous, to the point where if you disagree with him you are a "pin-head".

He acts as if somebody has a different opinion than him, than he can't stand the other person, as if their views are so offensive. That is what I hate most!

A fucking tool shed that is great. Out of all those talking head the only one I have an shred of respect for is Joe Scarsborrough, don't know if I spelled that right. Even though is pretty conservative, and I don't agree with him a good percent of the time, he seems to be a bit more open-mined and unbaised than the rest of the lot.
