I kinda would like to see what happens in this country if Obama wins.
I'm am a semi liberal Republican, if that makes any sense. I kinda am interested in what will happen.
That said, I am not voting for him though.

We are fucked no matter who wins :(
I do not want to see Obama as our president
we've been fucked for 7.5 years. i'm ready for a new dick.
Now you're talking!!!
meet the new dick; same as the old dick
Seriously... we will have endured 8 years of the worst President in the history of worst presidents. The only person in the world who is happy that President Bush was so crappy, is Jimmy Carter (and Warren Harding... but, he's dead). Even if we elect Paris Hilton for president... it couldn't get much worse. That's how horrible President Bush is.
Hail, Hail!!!
If Obama wins, then at least the new dick can speak well.
i agree....at least when he obama speaks i don't want to throw everything in the room at the tv....:)
I don't know about that. I tend to be more weary of the smooth talkers. They can talk you into all kinds of shit.
Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.

I've been married for nearly six years and.....
Oh wait, this isn't the AET. My bad.

We may need a 'Smooth Talkers Who Have Fucked People Over' thread.
We could list people like Ted Bundy and Jim Jones.
It's nice when people can speak well, but there is a fine line between being a good speaker and smooth talker.

That's funny. Because I kind of do ... ah well. I watch too much TV anyway
for the least they could possibly do
It's always interesting to me when I mention that I don't want Obama for president people feel they need to tell me "how horrible President Bush is." Not entirely sure where the connection comes from, but I dislike Bush probably as much as the next guy.
The connection being... things are so fucked up now (and circumstances created in the past 7 1/2 years that will extend into the next decade) that no one, even Barrack Obama could screw us worse.
It is going to be tough on the next president... whoever it is... because they will be inheriting a divided nation in the middle of a war who's economy is tanking.
I know Bush (and his supporters) do not like playing the 'Blame Game'... but, Blame is synonymous with RESPONSIBILITY.
Hail, Hail!!!
I don't think it really matters. We had these guys talk us into stuff. I don't really think it matters if they are smooth or not, it just happens. Sadly.
Really cool quote in your sig what letterman said about Nader, by the way.
Right now, the nation is at war and everybody hates each other but at least I'm not poor.
The nation could be at war, everybody could hate each other and I could be a broke sumbitch because my taxes went through the roof.
This isn't a knock against Obama, per se. More of a caution ... "it can't get worse" is not a good reason to vote for someone. Because it can ALWAYS get worse. We need to vote for the person we think has the best chance of making things BETTER.
for the least they could possibly do
