Not only is it FOX news, but its Sean freakin' Hannity for God's sake. That's about enough said. Sheesh, you could have at least warned people in the OP that you were posting Sean Hannity "journalism".

Republicans use taxes as an attack against their democratic opponent EVERY single election cycle. This isn't anything new. Conservatives are especially worried that that the ridiculous Bush tax cuts for the filthy rich are going bye-bye. Leave it to Hannity to start fear mongering to common folks.

  • You lost me at Hannity's America.

If you want Hannity's America don't vote for Obama.

But thats what the Dem's do.....what do you think your precious Obama is gonna do to try to fix the deficit? Raise fucking taxes left and right. It will only put America deeper into the whole.

When its the human waste Sean Hannity talking I do tend to ignore it yes.

Has the world turned so much that anti Obama supporters resort to Sean Hannity to give us the "truth" about Obama.

It's great to see Nader and McCain supporters working together like 2000.

Good luck with all of that...

seriously, who the fuck CREATED the deficit? when bushy boy took office, there was a budget SURPLUS. he and his cronies decide to wage war...and look at us now! i am no dem, but it amazes me how they are 'blamed' for being tax and spend...whereas in reality the republicans seem to be spend and gather debt. i at least respect those who decide to spend ANd fund their spending. i don't get your 'logic there' tho...how can be we get in a deeper hole, if we are trying to pay things off? that's not a hole, it's trying to dig OUT of one. being in debt IS the hole! and seriously who the hell yes is supposed to pay for this war? i'd LOVE for bush & co to have to pay for it, but sadly, that's not how it works. somehow he got elected, 2x no less....so the american people have to pay for the collective decision to allow him to be president.

    your 'truth' is just that...yours.

btw - i don't watch video links whilst at work, thus why i didn't respond earlier. funny tho, i don't think ANYone should feel the need to 'explain' something to someone. you have the same info in front of you. i leave it to you to decide to make up your own mind.
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

Did you think Hannity would outright lie and make up a fraudulent story on Obama?

"aw gee not Hannity....he's gonna say something unhorny about Obama..."

Sean Hannity is a true patriot.

    ...

even in jest it kills me to write it. :(

Oh you mean like Obama supporters who drop as low as supporting war, war funding, building up our already extremely wasteful defense/military budget, fisa, the patriot act, condi rice, nuclear power, bashing other countries who express opinions about ours and excusing all the bullshit pulled by the rest of the Dems in order to stand behind their man Obama......is that what is so great for you to see. I tend to think it's just plain sad.

yeah, you really had a point there.

That is the same old Republican argument. They said the same shit about Clinton when he took office after the recession in 92 and wow, what tough economic times we fell on then.

And that little 'fact' about 50 percent of the people not paying federal income tax is fucking ridiculousness. I belong to one of the lower tax brackets and I see money taken out every pay check. But I"m not bitching, because i don't have a family to support and i realize that taxes are needed to promote safety, democracy and the general welfare of this country.

I love it when these rich spoiled fucking babies get all butt hurt about paying taxes. You are able to have your economic advantages because you live in a democracy with a strong capitalist economy. With these benefits comes responsbility. And Barack wants to restore the upper tax bracket to 36 percent... not 40, not 50 not 70.

Come on folks, don't believe any of the hype, whether it's right-wing FoxNews or Hollywood Obama hype. Obama doesn't really have a tax plan. He has a tax plan to GET ELECTED. Soaking the rich appeals to his a large portion of is constituency, but the reality is that rich people will get him elected if he wins. He hasn't set fund raising records by himself. He is a legislative lightweight who did precious little as a Senator and his economic policies are primarily Austan (UChicago) Goolsbee and Jeffrey (Harvard) Liebman's policies. But here's something for you Obamanators to think about...and maybe comment on

"Sen. Barack Obama, perhaps giving America a preview of priorities he would pursue if elected president, is rejoicing over the Senate committee passage of a plan that could end up costing taxpayers billions of dollars in an attempt to reduce poverty in other nations.

The bill, called the Global Poverty Act, is the type of legislation, "We can – and must – make … a priority," said Obama, a co-sponsor.

It would demand that the president develop "and implement" a policy to "cut extreme global poverty in half by 2015 through aid, trade, debt relief" and other programs."
This bill passed by the way and was sponsored by Obama. It MANDATES that .7% of the US Gross National Product be redistributed by the United Nations to the countries that "need" it. We currently spend about $17B in foreign aid, this would triple that. The main difference here is this is NOT foreign aid, which can be tied to certain behaviors (better human rights, no cheating in elections, etc.). This is a macrocosmic "welfare" program on global scale where we essentially allow US citizens to be taxed by the U.N., but calling it foreign aid so it isn't unconstitutional. These are the type of policies we will get in an Obama Presidency.
