Well, Stone lives in Seattle, but the address listed is a Bellevue address in a business section of the city, so you won't find Stone there. In fact, it looks like the Layne Staley Fund uses the address, Tom Skerrit donated to Obama from the same address and Krist Novocelic donated to Ron Paul from that address (yeah, Krist). It seems like a pretty popular address.

Good deal. Probably their accountants address or something.

i personally think donations are better spent on local charirties and causes, instead of wasting the $ on whore politicians

Well it's public information and I for one find it interesting to see the flow of cash to different candidates through political movements amongst the "politically active"

good point. as others said, it is nice to see the proverbial 'put your $$$ where your mouth is' too. i don't actually ever research such, but now and again when it comes up....it IS interesting to see/read.

i have read a lot of stuff about stone and i have to say it definitely ups my respect for the man. he is a bad-ass when it comes to true environmentalism. granted, he also has the funds to do so.....but nonme the less, i applaud his dedication to environmentalism, b/c plenty of people who CAN afford to 'build green' as he does, simply do not.

At first I was a bit skeptical of sunshining campaign contributions. But over the last few years I think it's been a good thing. I also like the fact that contributers are limited in their financial gifts, I can't imagine how rich people (liberal or conservative) or corporations would be able to purchase elections.

I used to think kind of that way. But I've come to realize that good leaders influence and vote for the best polices and the country is better off for it. So donating money to one person can really effect many, many more is a positive way.
