I simply cannot believe that Bell whatever, bought out CHUM today -- two TV stations in BC got their plugs pulled today, 75 people laid off...and now we won't get any local news -- it's all gonna come out of Toronto! Well, I don't give a fuck what happens in Toronto! I want to know what's going on in my own province and my own community! Lookout CRTC, you're gonna get an earful from me!!!

    this is bad news ... ctv is the crappiest of stations in canada ... all they do is buy american programming ... my understanding is that they have surplus programming so they wanted other established avenues to broadcast ...
