funny/cool stuff I noticed at Mansfield 2

I can't remember how many shows I've seen... somewhere in the mid-20s. And I have NEVER seen the boys have as much fun as they appeared to be having on Monday night in "Rhode Island" (haha)

- Ed was a frickin dancing machine. Even during sections that didn't really have danceable rhythm he was bouncing around.

- Stone looked happy. Last couple of tours he seemed kinda somber but in Mansfield and both MSGs he was totally into it. Dunno why, maybe its the shaggy hair... but watching him bite on the man-cow's udder was priceless.

- Ed was doing alot of crowd interaction stuff... shaking hands, giving the finger (jokingly) to someone up front, drinking someone's beer as he ran past

- the coolest thing was when Ed wore someone's hat from the front row... on his way back to the mic he briefly did the "Into the Wild" silhouette on top of a monitor

- Mike was on goddamn fire and Jeff was bouncing around like a freak... all in all the boys just looked to be having a blast. Hopefully this comes across on the new record and leads to a massive tour next year!

that was one of my favorite parts! the look on his face when he kept talking about the show that they put on "sunday" when it was saturday and everyone in the audience corrected him was priceless!

Judging by some of the threads going on around here, I hope that cup he drank out of was indeed beer and not piss.

The beer grabbing was hilarious...but the ITW pose was the best!

this is just good news!!! It means they are happy with themselves, with the band and with everything, this means more records, more tours, more everything.

that was an amazing and very fun show. the band wanted to really enjoy themselves on technically the last show of the tour.

I got the lottery in DC (2nd row center!!), that was where he did an into the wild pose. He pointed at someone with the shirt on, on mikes side, then did the pose for a couple seconds. Pretty cool. It's awesome being that close, got one of ed's picks he tossed.

Great night, nothing better than being up close at a pj show.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

  • I definitely thought that the boys were in rare form during Mansfield 2. But I think Eddie was a little more into in in Hartford. When he got down on his knees and sang Alive you could feel the power of that song.
