the vast majority of illegal aliens are hispanic and brown.

So 5% of the total workforce were illegal and you don't have a problem with that?

Obviously not. They were "browner" so they must no be guilty ot their crimes can be explained away as a failure of society. See, only the "whiter" policeman is held accountable.

I'm for everyone following the immigration policy and not being in the USA as an illegal.

Are you crazy man, joining the US military is a great way to get your citizenship, I knew quite a few Panamanians and Mexicans who did it. It's a lot easier than being here illegally working in some "meat" factory. Your essentially pledging your self to the United States when your sworn in, which looks a lot better than jumping a fence and laying low forever.

As always, Cosmo has the best response.

So these 65 people were deported. I'd be mighty curious to know how the people who hired them were punished.

Well shit, I didn't know you were the only judge. ;)

AS usual people are willing to forget about the illegal decisions of individuals so long as they can attack a business.

You guys and gals do know that you can do both...right? anyone?????

That's my take ot the thing. BOTH parties are ILLEGAL. I think it's pretty lame to just go after one side and not serverly punish the other. The Employer is the root cause of this issue. The 65 workers can be easily replaced from the pool of 10,000 willing to work for the sub-standard wages in sub-standard working conditions.

    Well, not exactly...

the root cause is the lack of good employment opportunities in Mexico. ;)

But, that is out of our realm of control. We cannot control what goes on in Mexico, but we do have controls of what can be done over here. Cut out the ease of employment and it is a giant leap in cutting the flow across the border.
