I like homemade, really homemade, tamales, made by mexicans and sold out of the trunk of the car.

There's a thread on this afew pages back that covers it extensively. I also read a thread on this in a san diego forum that is frequented by a border patrol guy and some people who immerse themselves in border politics like it's their calling in life.

Basically, there were blatant acts of rights violations committed by the two border agents. But, the dept of justice apparently embellished a few details to sweeten the case. Even without those details, it would be hard to say that the events in question did not happen. There were other witnesses besides the immigrant, so moot point.

"Mexico wants to intimidate our law enforcement into leaving our border unprotected, and we now have confirmation of it in writing," Culberson said.

I read all of that, too. It's a tit for tat politco going on there. The sentences are extremely harsh.

And I still don't know what happened to the weed.
