    awwww let me get you a tissue. bush jr is seeking advice from bush sr. theres a shocker. he happened to also be the 41st president and also went through a war against Iraq. I cant imagine why jr would seek advice from him.

    you're wrong about that. like it says in the article, "Given the mists of secrecy that envelop the 41-43 relationship, it is striking that the broad Bush circle believes he had a hand in the Rumsfeld succession: as an old CIA director, 41 rarely leaves any clues at all." i even remeber bush sr. being asked about his involvement with bush jr. and he said something along the lines of not being involved with decisions at all. so with this latest news coming out in such a public way, it is a bit of a shocker, because for the past six years there's been no mention of the 2 of them working closely, or bush sr. offering help and/or advise. i can only imagine how embarrassing it has to be for bush jr. right now to be accepting help from his dad in such a public way. i guess somethings never change. everything bush jr. has today is because of his dad, and he still can't manage to do things on his own. he's forever dependant on daddy for everything.
