I thought he was rehabilitated

What did he check into a Terrorist Anonymous type place and poof he was better? So by Barack’s thinking if Osama said he was rehabbed then it would be alright to be his friend if you ran for president? I am supposed to trust this man's judgment?

    He was just clarifying Barack's statement.

    Listen, there is no excuse for the crimes Ayers took part in during the 1960s. And I don't condone the fact that he says he is unrepentant. (I don't know Ayers' official stance on that, but that's what I've heard.)

    However, he devotes his life and work to education reform and he is no longer living the radical terrorist lifestyle that some would have you believe. My sister, a teacher in the Chicago area, has actually met with him regarding education reform. One of her grad school professors at the School of the Art Institute co-authored a book with him. He may have committed and conspired to commit heinous acts in the past, but that is not part of the life he lives today and that is not the nature of his association with Barack Obama.
