This is exactly the type of hypocrisy and double-standard I was refering to, in the original Michael Richards thread.
I remember seeing this video quite a while ago. About a year ago, I believe.
Now let's see how many of these PCers get upset about this guy's comments.
crickets.....crickets.......chirp...chirp...chirp
There's no double standard. Michael Richards is a celebrity...this mumu-wearin' loon isn't. Nobody is interested in what an unknown loon thinks or says....that doesn't get people glued to the news. There are thousands of white loons just like him walking around in white sheets and burning crosses...you hardly ever see them on tv, and when you do, it's on channels like CSPAN.

Does anyone remember Sister Soulja? It was probably the early 1990s so there was no blogosphere, but the shit hit the fan when one of her songs said something related to the idea that blacks should stop killing each other and kill white people. There was a lot of uproar. Can blacks get away with more? Perhaps. But not everything.
And, as you mention, she was an entertainer (who was never as famous as Kramer). Right or wrong, everthing entertainers do gets more attention that things done by almost anyone else.
I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.
Oh right, like anyone here wouldn't be disgusted about some guy telling people to kill all white people. Get a grip.
Just on this site alone, look at the difference in response (activity) regarding this and the outcry, outrage and heavy activity of the original Michael Richards incident thread.
Ultimately, it's not about questioning whether people are disgusted or not; it's about how people are reluctant to equally express outrage and speak out, when a black person does it.
Clearly, the mainstream media would neverpay attention to this guy or his commments. Who is he anyway? He's powerless and using the same diatribe that some in the The Nation is Islam have used in their lectures. When most blacks see these guys talk, most of us laugh it off to lunacy. Don't worry white folk, my black brothers and sisters are not unified enough to get anykind of movement going with this nutjob at the helm. We need to take care of ourselfs first and learn how to get along with one other. That would be a good start.
I was bitten, must have been the devil.....

I think it has more to do with this guy being a nobody who is obviously crazy. There's are plenty of wacked out racists of all colors but they didn't star in one of the biggest shows of our time. I don't think the whole Richard's mess should have been blown out of proportion the way it was, either. But I can understand why he would draw more attention.
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.
Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.
-Oscar Wilde
Well that was certainly educational. I learned a lot about myself as a white person.
I poison water, I am a plantation master, I pollute the air, I don't smoke, I want to kill black people.
I also learned that black people don't sell property and only black people are addicted to cigarettes and recreational drugs.
What a bunch of horseshit. Well, at least he told us why he thinks that way. "Personal Experience"
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

That's true. Wayne's World hosted a debate between David Duke and Farrakhan last week. Very heated, but educational.
