Sooo does this guy have a chance????? Watched him on talking head show Sunday morning. Very disheartening. We are in a religious struggle in this country.

I will never support a candidate who is willing to impose his/her sense of morality on others.

im truly hoping he gets the nomination. cos it looks like hillary is gonna be the democratic nominee and he's about the only person she stands a chance of beating. he's as nutty as they come.

I hope that the two worst possible candidates get the nod for either party. I mean I want absolutely horrible incompitant candidates. I feel this maybe the only way this country will wake the fuck up and see both parties for what they are, a bunmch of self-absorbed career politicians with only a desire to take care of themselves.

....gay rights, abortion, seperation of church and state......this man will divide this country..worse than it is right now...but he will use a proven strategy to get into power. Had the pleasure to drive through Kansas this holiday season, it was beutiful...before the heavy snows...but it was amazing the number of signs on side of highway that were anti-abortion. Also lots of bumber stickers.

More power to him. It's become pretty clear to me that we have to hit absolute rock bottem before we realize that we need to take control of our government. The sooner it happens the sooner we can start taking back control and ridding ourselves of people like Brownback and Clinton.

I think this guy could be the guy to slip right through Rudy and McCain. If I were those two I would be really concerned about Brownback being in the race.

The guy really is crazy, I will have to try and find a link to the Rolling Stone article about him from 6 months ago or so.

    *EDIT*

Here's the link to the RS article

The struggle goes way beyond religion. Religion is nothing but a tool in the hands of some evil, vicious individuals who have had their agenda deeply rooted in Totalitarism.

guess it depends on your definition of worse. in any case, brownback will never be elected. i truly hope he wins the nomination. it'd be akin to handing the election to the democrats.

I tend to agree, but I also think that Nominating Hilary would be akin to handing the election to the GOP.

So if it's Brownback vs. Hilary...

    Brownback wins.
I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.

i half agree. nominating hillary would be handing it to the gop. but i honestly think brownback is so extreme that hillary would beat him.

I'm thinking of going out and campaigning for Brownback, but I'm not sure I could do it with a straight face. Maybe with a little practice ...

Sam the Sham doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hell of getting elected. All you have to do is bring up the subject of Opus Dei (the crazies from DaVinci Code... and of which Brownback is a member).

I think our first challenge is to come up with a slogan that is hysterically funny to us, yet will go right over the heads of his supporters and appeal to them. I think it can be done :D

You do realize that he's an idiot, don't you??? Speaking as a Kansan, the only thing, and I mean literally, the ONLY thing he has going for him is his support for Darfur.

I am really concerned the extreme right is further organizing..and with a few scare tactics...he may have a chance to win the presidency....I'm getting chills.
