ok so hypothetically speaking let's say the avocado b-sides were released only through burger king. 3 cds total with 4 songs on each disc. for a total of 3 weeks and only 3.99 per disc with the purchase of a king sized value meal. would this be any different than selling the 4 bonus track cd only at starbucks other than the food items sold at the different establishments? would you be upset or would you congratulate pearl jam on such a smart business move...keep in mind business is all about making money now...right?

Who fucking cares? I'd buy the meal and the disc, hand the meal to a homeless guy, and pop the disc into my car's CD player. Win-Win-Win-Win situation. Burger King gets a sale. Ed gets a sale. A homeless dude gets a meal. I get new music.

brother, if this is such a major issue to you abandon Pearl Jam and support a band worthy of your appraisal. I mean there are a fuck load of bands out there as active as Pearl Jam when it comes to activism and being good to their fans. i mean, i can at least think of one.

what issue? it's a question not a bashing..i'd buy music it if it was good no matter where it was sold. and burger king's coffee isn't even ridiculously priced and jeffbr had the great idea of giving the meal to a homeless guy since it isn't good enough for him to eat himself maybe this would be brilliant after all. we could all help feed the homeless if anything right?

This subject is a dead horse...yet you keep beating the shit out of it.

If it's that big of a deal...then that's pretty sad because there is a lot more fucked up shit in the world right now than to worry about Ed releasing bonus tracks through iTunes and Starbucks.

thurston says in the new spin that starbucks is putting out a sonic youth compilation next year with favorite sonic youth songs picked by other artists (beck, dave eggers, michelle williams) . his quote is " i don't care if it's dunkin donuts, those guys are selling cds."

  • why not give ticketmaster something exclusive too...like the rights to sell the 10 club members seats at their prices and a free coupon for a cup of free joe at starbucks! great idea. love to hear your comments on that one! i'd love to hear a pearl jam song in a burger king commercial. and wouldn't it be awesome to have posters of the guys in every burger king window across america? most of the people on this board have their noses so far up eddies ass wishing he'd turn around it's not even funny. everyone takes things so seriously. this thread was meant to be a fucking joke! mellow the fuck out brown nosers !!

Is it Canadian Burger King or US Burger King? The ones I have been to in Ontario all suck but last time I was in NY State I stopped at one on the I-90 and the burgers were awesome.
