-sour grapes
a few days ago a bushie demanded someone show proof that the administration lied...i gave a link to the white house's own site w/ a speech by bush where he said the IAEA's report said Iraq is 6 months away from a nuke...i gave 2 other links, one w/ the IAEA denying they ever said anything like that and the other w/ their actual report...of course the poster never came back to reply nor did any of the other supporters
of course they fuckin lied! but you'll never hear any of them admit it, they'll fight it and rationalize it and justify it and make excuses as to why it really wasn't a lie

Come on, Bonger, you know it's semantics unless it involves Clinton's lie. Bush really believed we could build permanent bases with ease, I mean find those terrible WMD's hidden all over the country. What was it Rummy said -- something like we know where they are, they are north, south, east, and west of Baghdad.

"Since 2003," the summary states, "Coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent," which remains "hazardous and potentially lethal." So there are WMDs in Iraq, and they could kill Americans there or all over the world.
You could kill more americans all over the world with an inventory of baseball bats.
b/c the weapons were old, degraded and worthless

I am sure they didn't like the power that WMDs gave them, and decided to never make them again. And the U.S., like idiots didn't belive them. Would a mass murderer lie?

sorry, but degraded and unusable weapons are not the same thing as 'knowing where the mobile labs are'
also:
"A Pentagon official who confirmed the findings said that all the weapons were pre-1991 vintage munitions "in such a degraded state they couldn't be used for what they are designed for."
so yes, they probably were bad to be near if they went off, but nowhere near the scale they are intended for. like comparing a sneeze to aids. i don't think it's as much a matter of 'deciding' to not make them anymore as not being 'able' to make them anymore
as to would a mass murderer lie? of course they would, but your vice president and sec of def are also mass murderers w/ their decades of secret wars and their own mass graves

no.. that is not why.. its because chemical weapons are obsolete.. have no value.. he knew that - so did bush.
Thats why he didn't have them and thats why we didn't need to invade even if he did
