From what it sounds like, PJ's next tour will be supporting a new album, which I am very excited about. But, when that time comes, I ask for only two things.

More Binaural and No Code!

These are albums that get rare play at shows, except for perhaps Hail Hail, Present Tense, and Grievance (I'm not including Who You Are because that was brought back specifically for last tour).

There are some amazing songs on these albums that the band hasn't been playing, and they need to come back! Smile, Habit, Off He Goes, Red Mosquito, Gods' Dice, NAIS, Of The Girl, Sleight of Hand, Parting Ways, Rival...I mean COME ON!

So yeah, there's my plea. Hopefully many of you agree. (Ooo, that rhymed :) )

Yeah, I'll start to think about my favorite setlist when I know they'll play it somewhere I can really hear it.
  • oOOoooOOOHHHHhhhh Good thread! :D

I agree 1000%...i slowly die inside every time i go to a concert and they don't play Slight Of Hand!!
  • I also agree strongly...

It is almost criminal not to play the songs off of these 2 brilliant albums which in fact are probably my 2 favorite Pearl Jam albums.

That's the only thing I don't get about PJ recently is why they don't play some really great material more often in favor of overplayed songs and covers that could/should be given a rest for awhile.
  • well... i have 3 wishes...

    Please, play Homeless!!! (BAD RADIO)
    and...

PLEASE, DON'T PLAY BINAURAL & RIOT ACT SONGS!!!

    Play more Inside Job!!!

  • I agree, I've been listening to a lot of Binaural this week, really underrated album. Breakerfall, Gods Dice, NAIS, Grievance are all big favorites of mine. As far as No Code goes, Red Mosquito and In My Tree (original version) would be much appreciated come next tour. Come to think of it pretty much anything off No Code would be fine with me.
