Wasn't there, but wanted to bring this show up for one reason as i looked at the setlist.

Set 1 Can't Keep, Brain Of J., Save You, Do The Evolution, Spin The Black Circle, Green Disease, Cropduster, Given To Fly, Even Flow, Faithful, Wishlist, Rockin' In The Free World, 1/2 Full, Love Boat Captain, Breath, I Believe In Miracles, Corduroy, Rearviewmirror

Encore 1 Last Exit, Better Man, Down, Black, Blood
Encore 2 You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, Last Kiss, Baba O'Riley, Yellow Ledbetter

If you look in the middle of the set, you will see RITFW...now, in my memory at least, this is the only time I've ever seen RITFW not in an encore, let alone in the middle of the main set. Anyone there at this show? I just find it SO strange.

  • It wwas right around the 4th of July and they were setting fireworks off across the river in Philly. Ed saw them from the stage and decided RITFW was fitting music for the fireworks. It was really cool.

It was the only time I can think of where I was jealous of the people up on the lawn.

This was an awesome show...."There's fuckin explosions going off right now isn't there?"......."Usually this is where we say 'thank you, good night'. But instead we'll say 'this next song..."

Word. This was an awesome week of shows and the shore. Went from DC for a show, then up to Camden for a Neil Young show, then down to Sea Isle for the 4th(in which I slept in my car), then straight up from the shore for these 2 shows. Good times had by all.

    My week looked like:

    PJ 7/2
    PJ 7/3
    PJ 7/5
    Metallica 7/6
    PJ 7/8
    PJ 7/9
    PJ 7/11

I wanted to sleep for a week when 7/12 rolled around.

  • it was surreal being in the lawn and looking to the left and seeing the fireworks while they were playing. fireworks actually started during wishlist which was cool too.
