Alan Colmes

is there a lower form of life on this planet? its so obvious that he is a fake. it wouldnt suprise me if he gets payed much more than Hannity to be a limpdicked coward on tv and lose argument after argument.

a guy that voted for Reagan, voted for Giuliani, and stated he was a moderate before being added to the show (as well as being handpicked by Hannity) is now the voice of liberal America? what a sick joke.

    Yes. See "pedophiles" for further.

I can't say that it matters to me who he voted for in the past or who he votes for in the future; he's probably one of those people who votes for who they believe is the best candidate regardless of political party. I'm quite the same.

But Colmes is a wuss of a spokesman...and probably would be no matter what part of America he represented.

  • no doubt he's a patsy. brought in to be the big bad liberal. I love how Hannity rails against Democrats who are afraid to be interviewed, and then 5 minutes later, Hannity does a solo interview with Bush, or Giuliani, or Sarah palin, or McCain. Colmes doesn't get the whole night off though, he has to sit in the studio, and say: coming up, more of Sean's exclusive interview with (insert name of Republican afraid to be interviewed by a putz)

he's a plant. he is payed to lose arguments and act weak. he can't be so stupid as to not know why he was picked for that job. he looks like an alien and has the worst voice i ever heard. he does not have a face for tv, nor a voice for radio, nor a personality for debate. I know thats shallow and not fair, but its not an accident that Fox picked him.

i would applaud him for picking the best candidate, but all respect for him is lost because he knows what his role is on that show, and it isnt to provide a counterbalance to Hannity.
  • just once, I'd like to see him bring up the scandals of the regular guests they have on the show. Esp. since Hannity is a broken record on obama's past and his "radical friends"

Tell me Dick morris, you know so much about this, is this the kind of phone call you would let your hooker listen in on?

So, Oliver North, if Iran is selling weapons to iraqi insurgents, is it possible American soldiers have been killed by weapons you illegally sold to Iran

Karl Rove is sitting next to me, karl, i have a laundry list of questions. Where sould I start

he's either a huge pussy or he's been muzzled. No way any American citizen, regardless of political party, can have Rove sit 2 feet from them and not ask him about ducking subpeonas, Siegelman, etc...

I'd say he definitely earns his pay.

Whenever I listen to him, as hard and on as Hannity brings it, Colmes always sounds pathetic, whiny and ill-equipped to muster an arguement of any kind for whatever or whomever he's supposed to be defending/representing. I used to think that maybe I'd caught their show on an off day...no. Every day is an off day for Colmes.

I've always had that opinion of him too. One thing I noticed is that when he and Hannity both "agree" on something, Colmes will be the one who "emotionalizes" the view, furthering the stereotype that liberals are overly-emotional and lacking in objectivity.

What's more is I don't think it's a coincidence that his physical stature is that of a skinny, wimpy looking sort. Again, conservatives want to believe that liberals were the ones who were picked on in school, and that conservatives are the stronger, jock types who are ready to defend our "freedom."

Colmes is nothing but a planted liberal punching bag for Hannity to punch around and look tough.

He's nothing but a fiction liberal for the Right Wing to boost their self esteem.

It's like a Right Wing Porno watching this chump eat his own shit everyday.

Colmes feign Liberal stance is a complete insult to the intelligence of the American People.

Watching this waterhead ham his way through an argument is as laughable as watching Larry King breakdance.

    What a fucking joke.

Word. Even CNN gets pretty hard to stomach anymore, and I have taken to boycotting NBC altogether (well, I gotta have my Cramer but outside of that).

Although, you can't really trust Fox that much either, to be real. Much more so that the other douches, but I go indie for my meat. Fox is just dressing.

Hannity and Colmes don't help me in that view, either. Colmes makes me laugh, he's so 'tarded. And Hannity, I just can't shake the feeling he didn't get laid nearly enough in school and has one fucked up closet as a result. I dunno.

Their ratings have nothing to do with the absurd notion that they are fair and balanced (or unbiased). They get an automatic 25% from those that are right wing Republicans who think that every other new source is liberal. The remaining 75% are spread around, including some who'll watch Fox. It's a built in demographic that gives them a ratings advantage. Ratings do not equate to quality.

Dude, NBC has that same built-in demo on the left, and they get crushed.
There are even more registered democrats than republicans nationally
Reason they get crushed? they suck in terms of quality and they lie. Sorry, next...

I think they are the most monitored by media watchdog groups. Counting the lies or distortions. I found Hannity's rants on the Rev. pretty disturbing.quite rascist. I just saw bits and was horrified. He must be a true mad man when he's on radio. I do think it's sad that many people believe it's must be true if it's on tv or radio. There should be a disclaimer so those unaware of this might realize it's not a diamond ring but a rats...ooh can't say it!
Why on earth would Repubs not see a possible backlash against these water carriers. It's like a horrible wreck, you should keep looking away but you peek. What about the poor sods who take investment advice from them. Sad.

Ratings mean everything if people dont watch that means companies wont buy ad slots which means they dont make money, which means they cant pay their employees. think about it. and if fox is putting out bad info or lies ther ratings would show.If you want to talk about a train wreck just look at MSNBC look at thier ratings.

This is from the Howard Stern Movie "Private Parts." I think it applies here:

Researcher: The average radio listener listens for eighteen minutes. The average Howard Stern fan listens for - are you ready for this? - an hour and twenty minutes.
Pig Vomit: How can that be?
Researcher: Answer most commonly given? "I want to see what he'll say next."
Pig Vomit: Okay, fine. But what about the people who hate Stern?
Researcher: Good point. The average Stern hater listens for two and a half hours a day.
Pig Vomit: But... if they hate him, why do they listen?
Researcher: Most common answer? "I want to see what he'll say next."

dont you think Rev. wrights rants are racist and as far as taking financial advice alot of people took the advice of
Barney Frank.and the only person that called him out was O'Reilly. Im just curious are you in favor of the fairness doctrine?
