    The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.

    I'm from somewhere else, not there, and I have no great interest in politics in my own country nevermind yours...but I heard Obama today on the news and he pretty much nailed why I have no interest, he summed it up. I'm massively sceptical of politicians, but if he's for real, and at least he's saying things like he said today...then he may be a breath of fresh air.
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

    We are doomed. Doomed to the never ending political campaigning.
    Remember back when we only had to endure the bullshit of partisan political elections once every 4 years? And that period only lasted from about August to November... and it was unbearably grueling at that. Now, it fucking NEVER ends. This shit seems like its been non-stop since 1999.
    We were always divided during elections... then, it was over and we went back to being one country til the next Leap Year. Now, we are divided all the time.
    It sucks.

    Yeah. Even those 'Willie Horton' campaigns... they would be on for a month... at BEST. Then, the Election... new Boss (Yay/Boo depending on how you voted)... and it would be November and we'd all go back to being Americans again. Sure, it was football season and we'd be Niner's Fans or Cowboys Fans, but we'd still be Americans.
