Camden 1 > Philly 05 ?

Of the four shows I'd been to before Camden 1 this year, Philly 05 was the best show by far. But do you think Camden 1 rivaled it? Certainly not the marathon set that Philly had in 05, but a GREAT crowd, and some FANTASTIC songs. It's a tough choice for me.

    I've been to six shows in Philly, including the 2003 shows, 2006 shows, and 2005. I wasn't at this year's show, but I gotta think that they couldn't compare to Philly 2005. That show was just perfection. The band was having a blast, the crowd was intense, the setlist was perfect.

    But my opinion means nothing since I wasn't at Camden I. I will say that of the six shows, the indoor shows in PHilly were both better.

    I was at the 05 show, both 06 Camdens, and both 08 Camdens. Nothing holds a candle to 05. Sorry :) I enjoyed the other 4 shows immensely, but 05 was just ridiculously amazing!

    I was at Camden 1 and Philly 05. I loved Camden 1 but I have to say for me Philly '05 was superior by far.

    I've been to most every PA/NJ/Camden show since 2003, and I have to agree with the majority here. As much as I loved Thursday's show (it may be my 2nd favorite ever), Philly '05 was fookin' magic! I always hold out hope that the next show (MSG Night 1 for me!!!!) will be the one that tops it, but I am pretty sure I witnessed the greatest night of music EVER on 10/3/05, and I'm just glad to have been there and have a boot of the show to enjoy forever.

    I agree Wachovia '05 was better....but not by much.

    Yeah, I pretty much agree with all of you on this one. I would say 05 was the best, but I was really shocked at how good Camden I was.

    Philly 05 was just a magical night...the vibe in the crowd was intense and the build up to that show was insane. Wash set the tone for the whole night.

    i haven't missed a philly area show since 98 and may i be struck by lightning if i do for some reason. over the years we've been spoiled silly imo.

    i would say the 05 wachovia center show slightly edges out camden I of 08. but don't forget 4.28.03 people. that was a special special show.

    are we talking in terms of setlists? or energy? or intangibles? personally, i go with both indoor shows in philadelphia proper.

    I wasn't at any of the Camdens in 08 but Philly 05 will always be better...my friends that I was with said it was one of the best shows they'd ever seen and they've seen the band over 40 times; and that was only my 2nd show, first being Borgata II and just having been to Roo I consider myself one of the lucky ones.
    Now I got two days at MSG to challenge the others :)

    Philly 05 is by far the best, but I truly think Camden 2 was better than Camden 1. Maybe night 1's setlist was more diverse, but (to me) the band was much more "on" on the 2nd night. More energy, more spirit, more love all around. I really felt like night 1 was just the warmup to night 2.

    Philly 05 wins without a doubt. camden 1 08 was maybe the best of the 4 recent camden shows, but thats a whole other arguement...

    If I had to rank the Philly shows in recent history, Wachovia 05, Camden 2 08, Camden 1 08, Camden 2 06 and Camden 1 06 would be my order.
