Stone's guitar on Fuckin Up in Hartford

Just watched a video of Fuckin Up from Hartford...Stone had guitar issues there also? Mike actually started the song, generally I believe it's Stone's intro, but I could be mistaken. Not the only time either, Stone had issues at the Garden, during Garden, actually.

    Pretty sure that was Mike, unless that's a sarcastic "It's Stone's fault" comment! Haha and I wasn't saying Stone fucked up, I'm saying his guitar was fucked up because he just gave it back and clapped for about a minute before getting another guitar.

    i think someone on this board said the guitar string broke?

    it fucked up (or stone did) on DTE, and ed told him to go back to playing Bass!

    Yeah, it did appear so. He used a couple of tambourines for a minute or so then got a new guitar from one of the techguy.

    It was stones fault...

    from what i can recall at this show, stone's guitar was fucking up royally during this song and Mike covered up as best he could Eventually Stone just gave up and they moved on Thankfully, unlike DC's Evacuation, they didn't abandon the song and did the best they could

    That was Hartford. He screwed up his interlude solo part, it was rather amusing. He also had issues with his guitar during Last Exit at the last Mansfield show.

    there's a vid on youtube for corduroy from mansfield 6/30/08 where ed's guitar straps breaks (?) right before the bridge after "All alone like I began".

    He and his tech brilliantly switch guitars right on time for him to play the bridge part (guitar- intro reprieve)

    I remember seeing a DVD from one of the US 2006 shows (??) where he pulled the guitar switch just in time as well..

    Ed's been belting the hell outta his guitars lately..
