What do you mean by "bad"? You asked how big of a colonizer Japan was, and I showed you.

How bad were they, and their war crimes of WWII are for another thread? I think we have another "WWII started in Europe" beilever... Their crimes during WWII all took place in their "empire" As far as most historians are concerned The Second Sino-Japanese war was the start of WWII in Asia.
Lets put it this way... they were pretty bad...

*Rummages for WWII in the Pacific notes*
The Battle of Shanghi Aug 13 - Nov 26, 1937 Chinese MILITARY casualties:200k
The Batlle and "Rape of Nanjing Dec, 1937- Civilian's "Massacred" after the city surrenders Japanese say 20k, W. Observers say 40k, Chinese say 300k
Modern scholars and Govt.s place actual estimate between (200-430K) Thats a big margin...
    Rapes estimated at around 80K

Shall we continue? I mean its not like they conquered an empire nicely

Plus, the Japanese sense of racial superiority rivaled and possibly surpassed any such European notions of the day.

UH...no one, thats my point its pretty hard to CONQUER nicely,
    con·quer–verb (used with object)
1.to acquire by force of arms; win in war: to conquer a foreign land.
2.to overcome by force; subdue: to conquer an enemy.

Ok so...umm...colonial Japan before WWII...uhhh, Well the problem is that they were not really colonial powers before WWII. We can discuss the First Sino-Japanese War, they took Taiwan, Formosa and well not much else. After WWI they occupied land that Germany had before. In both cases they disciminated against, exploited and killed those that were not Japanese.

Now are you going to just sit there and make other people do the work...or are you going to offer so insight into this disscussion? since it as you said "I" want to focus on.... would be nice for you to contribute.
