does anyone read "the nation"

just curious, see their ads on tv a lot to sign up for a subscription and wondered if anyone had opinions about it.

    I haven't read it in awhile. I used to pick up a lot of out-dated issues from the free magazine rack at the library. Christian Parenti is my favorite contributing writer. They take their social justice seriously.
    I think you can read it for free online.

    The poetry by Calvin Trillin is usually quite hilarious...
    It's kind of like looking at the cartoons in the New Yorker - a good way to start.
