I was just listening to this song, and I think it would be a great song for the guys to cover. Great vocals to sing, Boom could go wild on the organ, Jeff could go crazy with all of the bass in that song. I really think it'd be a fun song for the guys to cover. Not that it'd ever happen, but musically it fits them.

I've thought of this before but I feel they would do some other Beatles songs before this one.

I would love seeing/hearing Eddie sing "I Want You (She's So Heavy), but I'd prefer "Hey Bulldog". That would be absolutely amazing!

This is one of the best Beatle songs IMO. A little side note, it's really two songs, one Lennon and one McCartney, combined into one.

I think they'd cover others before this too, but I think they could really pull this one off. It'd be so amazing.

i love what they did with this in across the universe. "i want you" being uncle sam/the military posters and "she's so heavy" an image of the draftees carrying the statue of liberty through a jungle.

Agreed -- great song for them to cover. I'd also love to hear Eddie sing Lennon's Workingclass Hero. If you all haven't heard this song, go listen to it. Great lyrics.

Good pick. Not a more musically fitting song than "She's so heavy".

You must be thinking of another song, possibly "Baby You're a Rich Man", "A Day in the Life" or something else.

    This is a Lennon song.

I agree it would be a great song to hear PJ play. Helter Skelter as well.

I could be mistaken but I thought that I read 'I Want You' is a McCartney song and 'She's So Heavy' is a Lennon song. I believe there are a few double songs like this on Abbey Road.

The others are correct. John is singing both parts (that's usually how you tell who wrote it -- whoever is singing).

I've Got a Feeling is another one where John & Paul both wrote parts & melded them together.
