if you investigate cheney - you'd have to investigate every administration going back as far as the 60's ... this administration is only doing what many have done in the past - the only difference is they aren't interested in hiding what they are doing ... they like to stick it to everyone ...

I get the feeling you like to drive around lost for hours on end instead of just looking at the map in the glove box.

No, but to get Cheyney removed from office, you would need a 2/3 majority in the Senate and that seems very unlikely.

First you would need the House Judiciary Committee and Attorney General, Michael Mukasey, to agree to an independent prosecutor to investigate Cheyney which would probably take a few months.

Then that evidence would be presented to the House with an eventual up or down vote regarding impeachment which would take another month.

After a few weeks, the the case would then proceed to the Senate with the Chief Justice presiding and would take another month or so and then only if a 2/3 majority was reached would Cheyney be removed from office or possibly imprisoned.

So, it seems like a waste of time and resources to come to an unfulfilling end as there is no way that 2/3 of the Senate would vote to find Cheyney guilty.

Just wait a few more months and he'll be gone forever.

No, I know where I'm going before I get in the car. And I don't waste time taking a long drive to the store 50 miles away when the same store (a new one) is right around the corner.

not really ... it's pretty obvious they are engaging in a profiteering ecomomic foreign policy every other admin has employed ... instead of doing more covert operations - they went for the jackpot and created a war ...

doesn't look hidden to me ...

With the 9/II event it opened many doors for this administration to do whatever they felt like doing. They've kicked that door down, doing whatever they seem fit and NEVER ever to be questioned.

With Cheney and his war profiteering coporation he's working on being a billionaire an he may make it his heart will hold up. Then again he doesn't really have a heart does he?

  • For sure, he needs to be impeached. I think I've signed about 3 of these already. Glad to see more are coming.

Here's another reason he should be impeached, he ties up traffic around his home the Naval Observatory with his security motorcade of 22 vehicles.
I have to past that place on the way home from work everyday. Even bumped me out of the way a couple times, it's time for him to go.

    Save our tax dollars.
You know the fucking guy is going to get caught up in some sort of criminal investigation after 2008. My guess is his criminal dealings with Saudi arms dealers.

It's has to be there and open in order to drive to it and buy something.
