"I can only look to historical figures who are above reproach in my mind, such as Thomas Jefferson "I hope we shall crush...in it's birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country." I feel that corporations can still exist without worry of a few words at a rock concert and need not trample upon our constitution for the sake of profit."

Reading what Mike had quoted (above) made me think of another quote -

The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes strong than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism - ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or any controlling private power.
Franklin D. Roosevelt
Truth is incontrovertible
Panic may resent it
Ignorance may deride it
Mailice may distort it
But there it is

I'm trying to figure out what it'll take for the nation to come to this realization, and take back America. Yes, corporations can exist, but not to the level of national ownership...the Bush administration has definitely fostered this situation to the extreme.
"Music, for me, was fucking heroin." eV (nothing Ed has said is more true for me personally than this quote)
