i do NOT want her as VP, don't want mccain as president...and how SAD it would be if she were the first female to serve in the office, talk about unworthy. to me, she does not represent women well, at ALL.

Ok, I'll bite. How does being a woman not represent women?
does simply being a man represent the views of most men?
i think not.
i certainly do not think nor believe that palin works towards the betterment of women. simply BEING a woman means NOTHING if you actually work counter to what many women would like to see in their own lives, in their country, for the protections and betterment of women, and sure...society in general. palin is NOT the woman, imho, by any stretch.
btw - do notice exactly what you quoted:
i said she does not represent women WELL.
and she doesn't.

Sounds like an Obama response.
I'll rephrase it. What does she specifically do or not do that makes you think that she doesn't represent women well?

no, it's an honest decides2dream response.
she is anti-choice....VERY heavy on the anti. that's a biggie right there! that's probably the biggest in regards to women. beyond that, her wanting creationism taught in schools, in SCIENCE class doesn't fly with me, her seemingly anti-environment stances...all of which i disagree. granted, not women's issues per se.......but being so anti-choice is big enough for me. oh and bringing god into everything doesn't fly well either. i think she does not represent women well in that she seems anti-progressive, mostly regressive in what she seems to endorse for women, education and the environment. agree, disagree....c'est la vie. tis my take on the woman and most certainly NOT the first woman i would ever want to see 'represent' women, or our country....or make decisions/choices for women or this country.

remember back in the primaries when she said that hillary should "quit whining" about sexism? now palin herself cries about sexism towards her...that is why she doesn't' represent women well. she is not authentic. you think she's some sort of "maverick"? c'mon...she's just another politician. actually, she's beyond just another politicians...this whole 150,000 dollar wardrobe, 20,000 dollar makeup job takes it to another level.
now i suppose you'll make some crack about joe biden's hairplugs. keep in mind that he paid for those himself, and did not use money donated to any of his campaigns. big difference.
I don't care about hairplugs, makeup, clothes, haircuts, if they can play the sax or waterboard or shoot hoops. Those are not real issues.

But you do care about the government's responsibility with your tax dollars, right? Her spending that much on clothes and make-up can't exactly bode well for her attitude to spending if she gets into office.
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

Ok so you don't agree with her policies, that's your choice and I respect that. I feel the same way about Obama in that regard.
However back to Palin, what she thinks about God doesn't matter to me and I don't care if it is taught in school as long as it is mentioned as another possibility and not as truth. I feel the same about lib professors preaching their sermons. There really is no difference.
I also believe she is pro family. I've said I stand in the middle on that issue and I respect her decision in that regard as well. I don't really think the Supreme Court has it on their agenda to repeal Row v Wade, not that I heard anyway. And don't even bother mentioning her daughter getting knocked up unless you (not you specifically you as in general population) saved yourself for marriage. Besides it is Alaska, not too much to do up there.

you asked why i thought she didn't represent women well and i answered. nothing more, nothing less. we all have our differing perspectives and 'whys' as to who appeals to us or not. hell, i don't even have children but as a former educator the idea of teaching creationism in a SCIENCE class appalls me. it is not a scientific theory. however, that's another issue. point is, to ME....she does not represent women well at ALL. thus, my first post. hey, i am pro family ....and i am pro choice. i respect anyone's personal decisions, but i do not want one to put their personal choices as ALL women's choices and work against women in that way. btw - i couldn't care less if her daughter got knocked up, thus why i have NEVEr mentioned it...tis a non-issue. i judge the CANDIDATE, nothing more nor less.

why is her family off limits?
and would you be singing the same tune if obama had a pregnant teenage daughter? or would that not fly, since there's LOTS to do in chicago, besides fuckin'?

I can list hundreds of words to describe that clueless waste of life. If I had to pick one it would be Waste. Im sorry but I can't stand her. Her voice bugs the shit out of me, she contradicted herself enough times in interviews, failed miserably in the katie couric interview, she actually seemed to have convinced herself that she is ready to be VP, and her only strategy is "im a soccer mom who wants to cater to the middle class".

Her kids are off limits. So are Obama's. Now John Kerry's horseface daughter decided she wanted to give her opinion in a public forum, in my book after that happens the door is open.
However I will rip into his Barry's wife, only because she gets on stage and opens her yap. That is fair game, same goes for the other spouses, all of them. If they want to get up and preach they also should be open to criticism.

She sold out her republican opponent in Alaska.
She's selling out Steven's, another republican.
What made people think she wouldn't sellout McCain if things started to go down hill? She's an opportunist willing to backstab anyone who gets in her way. A backstabbing opportunist, with no loyalty or allegiance to anyone but herself. Palin's a backstabbing opportunist willing to destroy the Republican Party and the lower 48 States to get her way.
She has no idea what it is to be an American because she never believed in the United States of America. Palin believes in Alaska, as an independent country. Alaska as an independent country equal to Russia and Canada. Alaska as an independent country able to negotiate freely with Russia and Canada. Alaska as an independent country able to establish a separate military free of the United States of America. The Palin's believe in an independent Alaska where they would rule supreme.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

i guess i didn't realize that maturity equals blind stupidity. my bad. carry on, oh-so-mature one.
and i think "refreshing as a douche" has a nice ring to it. they should use that as her new campaign slogan.
