First it was Foley, now it looks like the Republican man running for governor of Florida has some sexuality issues -- sleeping with men. Not just any man, but a campaign staffer for Katherine Harris.

i have no problem with men sleeping with men...... but in a party that wants to burn homosexuals like salem witches, this is not going to go over very well.

I am having a hard time seeing how he is "taking issue" with the situation, but more pointing out the contradiction in the Republican Party. Especially since Kathleen Harris has been playing the evangelical card pretty hardcore

Not.....really. No. No one cries foul about their own team during election season.

And a party that doesn't point out the 'shortcomings' of their opponents isn't going to get anywhere either.

They got that -- they call themselves the Log Cabin Republicans.

Their parties probably aren't much fun either these days.

Heh heh heh. Google is a beautiful thing!

Actually, the Log Cabin Republicans have been getting on my nerves for years. I understand that they come from what used to be the moderate wing of the party -- you know, socially liberal but fiscally conservative.

But they, and other moderate Republicans have stood by and watched while the Republicans have become big spenders. Worse, they listen while Republican leaders line up to condemn homosexuals -- no same-sex marriage, linking homosexuality to bestiality and pedophilia.

I get all twitchy when I think about them.

Are you Karl Rove? I wouldn't have thought Rove was a PJ fan.
