election day!

EXACTLY 2 more months from today!

i sooooo look forward to it...and i HOPE....hope....hope america chooses wisely!

i would truly like to feel hopeful for our country again, and also to hold our head high in the international community once more, instead of being utterly embarassed by who is our president, and the actions our government has taken.

however....i am still quite askeered that overall, the rest of america is not with me here.

It'll be a close election with McCain winning by only a few votes in Ohio or Florida.

then bad stuff will happen...

now that one of the opponents is an anti-contraception, gun-totting, creationist, I gotta say my scared level has moved to shitless.

I've never been hardcore pro-Obama, nor was I ever really anti-McCain. But since Palin has been factored in, my allegiance has become pretty clear.

I just want to get this election over with. And when the inevitable happens and my vote goes for naut, I'll bear down and accept it.
