GOP Senator: A "Stretch" To Say Palin Qualified

http://news.yahoo.com/story//ap/20080918/ap_on_el_pr/hagel_palin
Don't shoot the messenger or blame the source on this one. GOP players are starting to come out and express shock about Palin being unqualified to lead.
This, coupled with the recent Karl Rove comments about McCain's campaign lies are pretty remarkable.
Of course, I am sure the response to this will be that the democrats are somehow being unfair to poor Palin.

I agree with you on that, but remarkable nonetheless. And I also agree with him. Good for him to come out and say it.
(and saying "well Obama isn't experienced either" does not make her more experienced)
Exactly. His statements were spot on about PALIN. I'm sure many more republicans feel the same way but don't dare speak up. I thought they were joking when it was mentioned she has foreign policy experience because Alaska is close to Russia. Seriously, how stupid do they think we are??
I think that you know the answer to that....
From the link:
"She doesn't have any foreign policy credentials," Hagel said in an interview published Thursday by the Omaha World-Herald. "You get a passport for the first time in your life last year? I mean, I don't know what you can say. You can't say anything."
Now that's just sad... thinking that someone could be one heartbeat away from the Presidency, and didn't have a passport two years ago?
was like a picture
of a sunny day
“We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.”
― Abraham Lincoln
And it can't be stressed enough: The VP is always a "heartbeat away." But this time it's really even more serious than that. McCain is old and has cancer. In my view, a McCain-Palin presidency has a very, very real shot of leading to a Palin presidency.
the reason i know that she is unqualified, and that those who claim she's qualified are full of shit, is that i've played the same shellgame she's trying to pull off, when i applied for a position that i clearly was NOT ready for. i sprinkled my job description with euphemisms, making the most mundane tasks look like monumental achievements: "administered" = pushed paper; "managed work flow"= did the work; "oversaw processes"= made checkmarks on a piece of paper; "was responsible for"= did crappy tasks no one else would do... the list goes on and on. and i'm sure everyone's done that at least once in their careers. the difference is, i was applying for an office job. palin wants to run the country.

...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
Rove also described the choice of Palin as a "political pick," and said she was not the most qualified Republican McCain could have chosen. But Rove also said Joe Biden, who has spent three decades in the Senate, was also a political pick — designed to make up for Barack Obama's relatively short resume.

applying the same to Sarah Palin ... well, draw your own conclusion ...

they did a side-by side comparison of both rove interviews on the daily show, and he condemns the same experience & credentials in kaine that he supports in palin.
he's a lump of shit with eyes.
