And it's a mess too... They are all pointing fingers at everyone, Mark Penn was throwing people under the bus before Texas & Ohio, Different surrogates are saying contradicting messages, and several people have had to leave for inapropriate and stupid comments.

If she somehow becomes president, as a political junkie, it will be fun to watch. There will be more leaks, public mistakes, and high profile advisers leaving to take huge "tell all" book deals that ever before.

She won't. No way she can win a general election. Dems may be stupid enough to nominate her, (i'm hoping not), but she won't win a geneal with her tactics. What would her surrogates say? "John McCain wouldn't be where he is right now if he were younger"? Would she leak a picture of McCain in a Vietnamese torture camp and photoshop him to look whiter? This kind of shit may get her through the primary season, unfortunately, but she stands zero chance in a general election.
The "tell all" books will be coming anyway, though.

I agree she is trying every dirty trick and has gotten pretty desperate and negative while Obama is trying is hardest to keep it positive, which in the end will help him sway more super-delegates his way...

this came as part of an email to the Obama mailing list the other day and it makes some good points on the way she has tried to spin the campaign her way....
    Dear Friend,

When we won Iowa, the Clinton campaign said it's not the number of states you win, it's "a contest for delegates."

When we won a significant lead in delegates, they said it's really about which states you win.

When we won South Carolina, they discounted the votes of African-Americans.

When we won predominantly white, rural states like Idaho, Utah, and Nebraska, they said those didn't count because they won't be competitive in the general election.

When we won in Washington State, Wisconsin, and Missouri -- general election battlegrounds where polls show Barack is a stronger candidate against John McCain -- the Clinton campaign attacked those voters as "latte-sipping" elitists.

And now that we've won more than twice as many states, the Clinton spin is that only certain states really count.

    But the facts are clear.

For all their attempts to discount, distract, and distort, we have won more delegates, more states, and more votes.

Meanwhile, more than half of the votes that Senator Clinton has won so far have come from just five states. And in four of these five states, polls show that Barack would be a stronger general election candidate against McCain than Clinton.

I have to add, that Hillary's half-assed "apology" yesterday was the LAMEST thing I've ever heard.

She didn't take ownership of any of the events that have transpired. A sincere apology will accept at least some degree of responsiblity. I didn't hear that at all from her.
