    Scooter will never see the inside of a prison cell. He will remain out on bail while his appeals are being heard and then come January 14th 2009 the golden parachute will open, the good old Presidential Pardon. Besides Scooter is just the fall guy. The people who really belong behind bars are free to go.

    i hope they do pardon him, i would love to see the republican party injure itself further. major blow! people will always want their politicians just, no matter the side of the fence.

    I'm 100% sure that he will be pardoned. I'm sure that's why he took the hit because he knew that he could buy time till 1/14/09 with appeals and then the pardon followed by some cushy job making millions of dollars sitting on the board of some company. Bush isn't going to give two shits what the pardon will do to the Republican party because his political career is done and he can retire to Crawford with his lifetime pension and let some other shit filled meat-sack of a politicians deal with all the crap he left behind. Hell if his daddy could pardon a well known terrorist as Orlando Bosch, pardoning Scooters is small beans.

    Even if he does go to jail he won't be in that kind of jail I bet. He'll be in one of those minimum security places with white collar criminals I think.
