I just bought this DVD this week. I forgot how funny it was. GREAT one-liners throughout.

Forget the curve ball Ricky. Give 'em the heater.

I can't tell you the number of times I've quoted that line or this movie in general. :)

I still see him as Serrano. I don't care if he's trying to sell me insurance or if he's the president of the United States.

Speaking of the inability of Jesus to consistently hit a breaking pitch, what did you think of "Jesus Camp"?

Remember, fans, Tuesday is Die Hard Night. Free admission for anyone who was actually alive the last time the Indians won the pennant.

I usually walk him and pitch to Moses.

[to Rexman] Hell of a situation we got here. Two on, two out, your team down a run and you've got the chance to be the hero on national television... if you don't blow it. Saw your wife last night. Great little dancer. That guy she was with? I'm sure he's a close personal friend, but tell me, what was he doing with her panties on his head?
[Rexman pops the ball straight up]
Uh-oh, Rexie, I don't think this one's got the distance.

Bats, they are sick. I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come.

Heywood leads the league in most offensive categories, including nose hair. When this guy sneezes, he looks like a party favor.

For years, I thought this movie would be the closest I'd ever come to seeing the Indians make the post-season. Then we had the glory years of the late 90s (no WS win, but just making it to October qualifies as glory in Cleveland). Now it seems we're mired in mediocrity once again, despite having a few truly fantastic players. Of course, compared to my childhood, even mediocrity is quite an improvement :)

Three times a day might be overdoing it, but I do watch this at least a few times every season :D

Is anyone a Brewers fan? Does Bob Ueker still call the games on radio? I've always wondered if he is as sarcastic in real life as his character is in the movie.
