everyone should definitely check this out. a documentary about a soldier wounded in iraq that has become a an anti-war activist. it looks really good. not to mention the music is done by Mr. Vedder
the trailer is good, the interview with ed is good, and of course the song is amazing! it's pretty powerful when playing behind that trailer.

Hail, Hail!!!
Yeah man, the song fits very professionally. It's been taken to an entirely new level in my eyes. Well done.
Looks like one of those throat tightening kind of documentaries.
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

Saw a similar thread around the Porch, but either way, my ol' PC is not able to catch any video or sound...
..but I read the lyrics called "no More War" and I assume they belong to the new song.
and I am very happy right now that someone spoke out so clearly.
ahh, finally a reflection of my opinion and many's around here....
...I hope we can hear it soon here in Europe, too.
...the world is come undone, I like to change it everyday but change don't come at once, it's a wave, building before it breaks.
i bet you will hear a few new things in europe from this. hopefully
and yes one of the songs is "no more war" which is classic!
- A Conversation with Eddie Vedder & Tomas Young
Body of War
a film by Ellen Spiro and Phil Donahue
original songs by Eddie Vedder
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way
2007: Copenhagen, Werchter

and still jonesing for another show....
"the waiting drove me mad..."
Yes, there is one more. It's called "Long Nights".
"...Eddie Vedder, of Pearl Jam, contributes two original songs to Body of War. He talked to Tomas at length by phone as he prepared to compose the songs, "No More," and "Long Nights."
http://www.bodyofwar.com/synopsis.php
"It was important to us that Body of War be cross-generational. Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) volunteered to write two original songs which capture the two threads of the film perfectly. LONG NIGHTS reveals the inner life of Tomas Young when he's not sure he can make it through another day. NO MORE speaks to the political reality of this war, and is certain to become the most powerful anti-war anthem of the 21st century." Ellen Spiro
