Can't wait for a show in Seattle! Oh wait... nevermind.
Is complaining about not having shows bad for karma? What are your thoughts on not much face time in the Northwest? Will it happen? I'm getting a bit bummed for the summer now. I know there was some EV north and south of here, but would be nice to have something close.

oh yeah, he plays unannounced 50 person invite only shows and record store

shows. which is very cool for the lucky enough people that find out about it

but we are not all so lucky. All i ask is for a proper show at the showbox or

    paramount.

It seems that "Seattle" shows are always private or secret anymore and you must be part of the elite to get in....So much for hometown huh?

I'd say you're pretty lucky to get into a Showbox show, too.

I couldn't agree with you MORE!!!

While I was fortunate to get to see Ed's "secret" solo show in West Seattle. The majority of local fans had no idea it was going on and therefore had zero chance of going. Ed scheduled a "West Coast" solo tour that started in Canada and jumped the hell over 2 of the 3 states that make up the US West Coast. West coast tour my ass, that was a California tour that happened to start in Canada.

    it is strange

but sometimes I think half the reason EV/PJ tour is to visit other places.

I say the Showbox and The Key Arena. Playing the Key (which PJ has had some fantastic Key shows over the years) would accommodate lots of people, like playing The Gorge does.

Yeah, cause it has been so long, if ever before that they have gone to Boston, New York, New Jersey, Toronto, DC, or Chicago.

Yeah, there have been some awesome shows there. And I was pretty lucky because when I lived in Seattle, I only lived a block away.

I feel this way too.....very confused about this whole thing. This whole year has been (with the exception of the Canada/Cali shows) an East Coast Tour
deep, deep blue of the morning
    gets to me every time

    with the exception of jersey
    all great cities
totally understand why they would want to go there regardless of time.

Hmmm...the Gorge, Key, Showbox, etc, etc....

Yahhh...I'm thinking you should start a "PJ play Seattle" thread like our other neglected friends from the southern States!

Jersey, well, lets not go there

plus I was responding to Animal, not addressing the cities EV is playing, although there is some crossover there

Yahhh... dig that to play here they go home to their own beds... so what's the prob. Seems like it would be pretty easy to do. I missed the EV secret show and as a hometown fan am bummed that I haven't seen the band play in almost 2 years.
