If I'd thought about it for a half-second, I could have predicted the younger one saying komodo dragon. When she was little she saw some show about them and was just fascinated ... we had to go to the library and get books and videos, and that was always the first thing she wanted to see when we went to the zoo.

The older one, on the other hand, I thought was a sure thing. She not only lived in Denmark, but when she was little she had a huge stuffed kangaroo that she dragged all over the house with her, so I have no idea why she came up with a Dominican coyote, lol. She must have gone out of her way to come up with an unpredictable answer, just to mess with her sister.

I found myself amused by this whole numbers thing some time ago, and what these numerologist conspiracy people are saying is that the number of days between 9/11/01 and 3/11/04 is 911. Which means something, obviously, right??? I don't know. I mean, it is weird. But one of these numerologist groups said that something would happen on 06/06/06 and of course it was just another Tuesday.

I'm amazed that any adult would buy into this nonsense. With a decent number of dates to play around with, and given how many numbers those groups find to be somehow significant (6, 11, 13, multiples of any of those, triplicates of any of them), anyone with time on their hands could come up with all sorts of odd "coincidences" revolving around any two things or events. Add a third or fourth thing or event and you could come up with new and mind-blowing things all day long.

Next time my boss goes on vacation, I'll prove, through the science (heehee) of occult numerology that the ghost of Jimi Hendrix is causing volcanoes to erupt, or something equally silly. Google, a calculator and time to kill are all you need.
