"Architect of the unpopular war in Iraq, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld was praised lavishly for his service to the nation Friday as he called on Americans to spend more heavily on defense."

Only in America could someone be lavishly praised for fucking up so bad. and anyone have any bets he'll be working for a defense company soon (hence his call to spend more on defense)?

    It's nothing new...
Look at the way CEOs and Presidents and executives of American Companies are given huge bonuses for posting record losses. In Japan... if they don't step down in disgrace, their asses are fired.
    Failure is success.

or, how all the morons at the CIA who fucked up 9/11 and pre-war intelligence were all promoted, and all the ones who questioned pre-war intelligence who canned by Goss as soon as he took over.

Well, you can't have people around who have the skills necessary to discover the truth. It seems perfectly logical to get rid of people who could expose the lie.

  • To me his most classic move was announcing that 2.3 trillion dollars is mysteriously missing from the pentagon...the day before the wtc attacks..

    Did we ever find that?
