Please don't ever do away with Planned Parenthood

The healthcare system in this country is borderline useless. On Monday, I called all 30 gynos on my list of approved doctors so I could schedule an appointment for the next day, and they were all either booked or are not accepting new patients.

I had a cyst (or several) rupture on Monday while I was at work. That pain could not be compared to anything I've felt before. Were Planned Parenthood not available, I would have had to wait until next year to get a checkup.

    That happens here too with gynaes.

    And ruptured cysts are hell!!! I've always found that if I just rock up to the emergency room if that happens they do move faster. It's bullshit that people have to wait in that kind of pain.

    Yep, new insurance. My last GYN was great, too. I'm not too happy about it.
