It's amazing how a government run news agency can be one of the most unbiased news sources out there.

Relative to a lot of other news sources, I would say that yes, the BBC is unbiased. They provide a wide coverage of all types of world events, and don't necessarily focus on all of the sensationalist crap that other news sources do.
I agree, and unlike the Voice of America, which only seems to run world stories that relate to US interests, the BBC World Service will cover world matters for the point of reporting the news. As a radio station, I really don't think anything can hold a candle to it:
