I was just given this video by my brother. It's very hard to watch, I had skip through a lot. Most of the abuse scenes are from Asia where fur industries go largely unregulated. Please be careful and watch labels and materials when you buy a coat this winter!

an animal from your local shelter would make a great Christmas present!

Gee thanks and for your next thread could you please post a slaughter house video?

  • I have a pretty good idea what is on there so to save myself tears and most likely my supper coming back up, I am going to skip it.

I realize that most people are unaware of what some coats are made up of and we should be aware but I am still not going to watch it.

Of course, I could be a big fat hypocrite as I have a down filled vest and I am pretty sure those geese didn't just die from old age :( ok now I feel like a shitty person :(

exactly why i didn't watch this.

whatever it is...you should probably just send it to PETA instead of showing it to people who try to be part of the solution, though we may be flawed.

I haven't purchased any new leather, wool or down since 2004 thanks in part to seeing videos like the one you were trying to share - I'm guessing the vid was pretty brutal 'cause it looks like youtube took it down.

Doesn't matter where it happens, it's pretty difficult to skin an animal without causing harm.
