Pearl Jam + Sigur Ros @ Bonnaroo?

I know there's been a post or three about this already, but how great would a collaboration with Sigur Ros be? It's hard to listen to their new single and NOT think about the drumming from In My Tree or, dare I say, Who You Are.

I've never hear these guys before, but I've heard a lot of good things about them. I'm going to have to check them out before heading to Roo.

Any suggestions on which album I should check out first?

It would be pretty wonderful if they did something together, although I doubt they will.

If you haven't checked Sigur Ros out, you're missing some great music. My favorite of their albums is ( ), but that's probably because I heard it first.

This video is from a song off Takk... Watch it and fall in love with a new band.

Their entire catalog is solid, but Takk is definitely their most accessible album.

I would also highly recommend watching their dvd, Heima, as it has some of the best live performances I have ever seen captured on camera.

Damn, I didn't know they have a DVD out! I'll have to look into this. Their stage show was absolutely AMAZING. The visual content they added rivaled anything I've seen at a Tool concert even.

their DVD is the most breathtaking thing ive seen as far as live concert footage... some of the places they play... JESUS! makes me wanna go to iceland right now! i dont think i could stand to see them here in some ordinary venue after seeing that

a collaboration with them would be insane! not exactly sure how it would work... but itd definitely be interesting

for all those going to Roo dont forget to see these guys! some of the most talented and versatile musicians making music right now (as long as your open minded to falsetto icelandic jibberish :D)

It´s a great band. Jónsi used to play the guitar with the bow from a celloit and the sound is very nice. It combines perfectly with his voice em falsetto. I like Sigur Rós very much and if I would stay in Bonaroo i will run to their show..
I love this video of them

That would be something to see. Sigur Ros is incredible.
Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
  • pearl jam would just crap it up

Sigur Ros is too pretty to be messed up with a bunch of classic rock guitar licks
You can't spell "dumb" without DMB
  • i dont see how these two bands could play together. it would be...weird. Does Sigur Ros even know english :)?
