The media had to be liberal. Otherwise, we would just hear about all the progress being made it Iraq and how good the economy is.

That's the gift the Democrats have been handed. Your taxes have already been cut, now all the Democrats have to do is simpy not renew those cuts. Effectively raising your taxes without technically having to do it.

You can't spend uncontrollably and simultaneously take away the revenue which pays for things.

Tax hikes are necessary to pay for this war we are in and GW's spending habits.

Am I the only one who thought it a really bad idea to cut taxes while spending more than we ever have?

We got a check for $300....and then got $300 taken away from our returns the following year. That was not a tax cut. It was a bad attempt to jump start the economy.
