I really want to vote this year..

Like I have the last two elections.....but I feel uneasy about our choices in such a important time.

Its almost impossible to get any kind of truth from the media, and most stuff thats reported seems to be designed to sway your opinion one way or another. You get different versions of the stories if you switch from channel to channel...how does one become "educated" on the issues at hand?

How do some of you "educate" yourself on such important matters?

    Most of us just do a google search then cherrypick the links that jive with our pre-conceived notions.

    McCain is running for a third Bush term.

    Obama is a radical Muslim/potential neo Black Panther who wants to kill babies, raid old people's retirement accounts and turn Washington D.C. over to the Taliban.

    I don't even do google searches, I just get my news from this forum.

    I think I'm voting for McCain now because this quote scared the shit out of me!
