Bush has a program for Russian democracy

Bush was quoted as saying, apparently to Putin:
"I talked about my desire to promote institutional change in parts of the world, like Iraq where there's a free press and free religion, and I told him that a lot of people in our country would hope that Russia would do the same,"
To which Putin said:
"We certainly would not want to have the same kind of democracy that they have in Iraq, quite honestly."

It is not about human rights and democracy, it never was! If it was we would have helped these countries when their people were being murdered by these dictators (i.e., montainiards, kurds). It is about capitalism, a world economy, the rich getting richer. The scary thing is that all the people we are fighting are not fighting for money, they are fighting for a religious belief that was ingrained in each and everyone of them, from birth. Furthermore, most of these people are willing to die for their cause. The capitalist leaders are more willing that we should die for their causeCan't you see that there's light in the dark.
Nothing's quite what it seems in the city of dreams.
