O'Brien producing another album before Pearl Jams?

How will this effect and/or delay the new Pearl Jam record??

Atlanta progressive metallers MASTODON have tapped Brendan O'Brien (AC/DC, PEARL JAM, VELVET REVOLVER) to produce their next album. The band is scheduled hit the studio this week to begin recording the follow-up to the Grammy-nominated 2006 release "Blood Mountain

    I could be wrong, but dont they break down recording in sessions? So i CAN IMAGINE HE CAN TAKE ON MULTIPLE producing gigs at the same time

    I think a lot of producers are working on multiple alblums at the same time
    ...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

    Regardless we won't have a new album until next year at the earliest, unfortunately.

    he has just finished the new album by the living end, have a friend going to he launch next week, he is also doing the new ACDC...

    can't wait for the new album thought!!
