this thread was inspired by someone here who couldn't find information on google; yet i found it on the USDA website and printed in the american medical journal december 2005 edition.
so i called a friend who builds websites and we built a site together. using a theory that mars can be made habitable by filling the atmosphere with CO2. dr rockenstat (me) claimed that we can solve global warming by capturing the CO2 and sending it to mars. this gas would be stored in a compressed state until enough was accumulated; then released to cover the planet in dry ice. after about 1700 hits the site was shut down but the point was made. anyone can enter information on the "information highway" and no one is there to verify it. yet agencies who do not pay someone to enter keywords into search engines have valuable information dismissed by those unwilling to look further.
*** if your child was one of the 1700; please let them know that mars would need a magnetic field for this theory to work and it would take thousands of years for the greenhouse effect to create a habitable atmosphere. sorry for the prank.
