Ok, I don't care what this thread turns in to. Just needed a place to publicly mock CNN. I just went to their website and almost fell off my chair after seeing what appeared in their "Live Developing Story" section at the top of their website. Here you go:

People want to know there's a pelican stuck in a tree in Florida?

I'm going to e-mail cnn right now, I just saw a magpie with only one foot! Now that's a story.
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

Looks like pelicans adhere to the "50 mile rule"

"Pairs are monogamous for a single season, but the pair bond extends only to the nesting area; mates are independent away from the nest."

    Whores....

Come on this is exactly the kind of stories people need, it's heart warming and takes your mind of the big concerns in life.
Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.

No, but the popularity of the tree has really taken a beating since being associated with this rogue pelican.

FFG, your anti-Repelican rhetoric has become stale. Lately, you've become nothing but a Libarboretian shill.

The important thing is that you survived, and that the pelican was later gunned down by authorities.....

ha ha, that was great. When I was 13 or 14 I visited a pigeon park in Puerto Rico. I have a pic of me somewhere covered in pigeons. They were so creepy. I'm inspired to find that pic now.

I'm going to be honest -- I have watched that video about 20 times this morning and laughed like a total goon each time. I'm a child.....

    Also, please post that picture!!!

Yeah, the video was hilarious! I'm laughing just thinking about it.

Ok, I have to flip through some photo albums when I get home then scan it. I have a great one of my sister too, like something out of a Hitchcock flick.
