US FDA and the evils of Tim Tams

So I'm at a bit of a loss.

Even though Arnott's is now owned by American interests the humble Tim Tam is not allowed to be posted into the US without special dispensation and all kinds of paper work making it not worth the trouble.

I'm just wondering why?

I mean China is sending all kinds of crap into the country and it's not even being recalled till it's too late. What's the deal with the FDA and their stance on Tim Tams?

    Should I be afraid when I get my post?? !!! :p .. oh yeah I have to deal with Canada Post they will let you mail anything... and I mean anything :p

    On the flipside Canada Post also leaves your fucking packages on your doorstep so ....goes to show their level of concern for people ACTUALLY getting their parcels :rolleyes:
