I don't know when he makes the list, but maybe Scooter Libby? Cheney (now that he's been indicted), Rove. Those would be a few that come to mind.
    R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

    R.i.p. Black Tail (cat) - Sept. 20, 2008
  • Bush is going to pardon every asshole in the Republican party who has got a legal problem- which is most of them. Yeah, Libby and Cheney. "Fredo" Gonzales, You'll see Ted Stevens, maybe Duke Cunningham, and somehow he will manage to get himself pardoned from all of the incredibly illegal implications that hang around his neck.
They're all guilty. War crimes. War profiteering. Treason. Murder. Tax evasion.
Corruption. Stonewalling Congressional subpoenas. And a thousand other high crimes and misdemeanors.

5 years ago, I was hoping that by 2008 we'd be asking "Who will pardon Bush?" and the answer would be "no one in their right mind".

  • God I love that movie!
she was underwhelmed, if that's a word
  • Scooter, Ted Stevens

Ramos and Compean deserve to be pardoned.
  • I'm sure the list is already completed. They know who they will pardon. They just won't do it until the final day of his administration, so the controversy will rage after he's left office. Same way Clinton pardoned a fugitive, whose wife was a major donor. I agree about Scooter. i think that's how they bought his silence. Told him that his appeal would be "in the system" long enough, that he'd never serve a day in jail.

Maybe nobody, in a last desparate effort to give his legacy a bit of a boost.
I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.

Sorry Uncle. This guy is a snake. His friends come before any thoughts of law or country. He'll be giggling his way out the front door of the place thinking he has done a pretty fine job. He is oblivious to the smoldering ruins he is leaving in the wake of his disgrace. He doesn't get it.

I don't think Scooter since Bush already commuted his sentence, but Ted Stevens is definitely a possibility.

  • I'm hoping he'll pardon me. It's getting annoying having to worry about my background check all the time!

Still President only commuted for political reasons. He must pardon Scooter.. that is part of the process of pardoning himself.

Is it possible for Bush to pardon the U.S. accepting Madona back from the U.K.? That would be awesome.
