need some help

I have a vhs copy of my first concert ever which was PJ at maple leaf gardens 96. How can i get that into a computer format or can i go somewhere to have it done and what is the cost roughly. i must preserve this precious memory.

    theres many ways to do it.

    you can buy a converter box to connect a VCR direct to your comp - there are lots of different ones. OR if you have a good video card, some have the capability of recording TV, the quality will be not so good tho.

    To have it profesionally done, you may be looking at around $300.00 + depending on where/who you go to.

    easiest way I think is get a DVD recorder with a VHS, or hook up youre VCR output to your DVD recorder input signal. Should work, but depending on quality of the original - most likely no matter what you do, quality will always go down after each copy of a copy.


    but there are plenty of more ways - these are just the easiest ways to me
